Portfolio Site

I’m a front-end developer with a passion for creating responsive, accessible, and user-friendly websites using JavaScript/TypeScript, React (Next.js and Astro), and WordPress. I started my career in technical theatre, earning a B.A. from VCU with a focus on design and theatre carpentry, then retrained in modern web development. Today I work with clients nationwide to deliver high-quality, performance-optimized sites.

In my current role in a fast-paced SaaS environment, I build and maintain responsive site features with PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. I also own performance updates, technical SEO, redirects, cookie consent and privacy compliance, and marketing email templates. Much of that work is cross-functional: I partner with the marketing and product teams on lead generation and conversion tracking, and I troubleshoot front-end issues so the site performs consistently across devices and browsers.

Going forward, I want to keep building clean, performant interfaces with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS on teams that prioritize thoughtful design, accessibility, and maintainable code. Long-term, I’m working toward full-stack software architecture, bridging the gap between intuitive design and robust, scalable engineering. I’m always learning, and eager to keep improving.
